As I mentioned in my last post, I am finally releasing new music and unreleased older tracks. You can find some of it on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc. However, those services don’t really pay most artists much at all- just fractions of a cent per stream, with most of the proceeds going to the huge mainstream acts. So, even if I were getting thousands of streams (I am getting like, 4), it would still be pennies. And the dream is to make enough to just do music.
So, I going to start selling digital downloads, followed by physical versions in the form of USB thumb drives in fun shapes, perhaps CDs (some people still buy them) and maybe even vinyl. We’ll see. I am waiting for some samples of pill-shaped USB drives for the Self Medication EP. So, if those work out, that will be the first of many new, fun collectibles.
